Activities: 1. Pick you up from downtown hotel in Shanghai at 08:30 and then transfer you to visit the Jade Buddha Temple first. Built during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty (1875 - 1909), the temple contains a priceless collection of jade statues from Burma. The highlights are the  two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha.

2. Then drive you to visit the People's Square. Shanghai People's Square located in the heart of the city is a vast green area surrounded by great buildings on all sides.

3. Then move on to visit Shanghai Museum. Shanghai Museum houses a great permanent collection and hosts various exhibitions with over 120,000 pieces thus showcase the 5000 years of China's history. We recommend you rent an audio phone (USD 5 on your own) to make the most of your 1.5 hours' visit.

4. After lunch, visit the Yu Garden. Yu Garden is a typical private garden in China with nearly 500 years history. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to visit old streets around Yuyuan Garden.

5. Then continue to the Bund. The Bund shows off Shanghai's outstanding foreign buildings, most of which were erected before 1937. It is the emblem of Shanghai, the area used to be British concession.

6. The last destination is the Oriental Pearl TV Tower in the Pudong District. With a height of 468 meters, the tower is a real highlight and symbol of modern Shanghai. Standing on the top, you could enjoy a panoramic view of Shanghai.

7. After the whole day tour, transfer you back to your hotel in Shanghai.
