Day 01:

08:00am, pick up from the downtown hotel.

10:00am, Arrival in the Gubei Water Town and learn the simple route of the whole town.

10:00-12:00, firstly walk along the main road – Tangshi Street to visit shoes` shop, comb shop, lamp shop and kite culture shop, and then visit the Zuofang Street to see the process of Chinese Alcohol/spirits making shop, visit Yongshan Dye House to know how to make different colors of cloth by ancient ecological method.

Paper-cutting shop and shadow puppet show are also fatanstic places to visit and even involved to make it.

12:00pm, have lunch at local Chinese restaurant or western Pizza restaurant.

After lunch, free leisure time to enjoy sunshine or a short break in hotel. (Note: different style of guesthouses, boutique hotels or 5-star luxury hotels are all available. Advance booking is highly recommended.)

15:00pm, walk along the Madarin Duck Lake through the whole town and take pictures of some featured architecture, and until reach the ticket office of The Simatai Great Wall.

16:30pm, start 2 hour hiking to the Simatai Great Wall. This section well keep the original appearance of ancient Great Wall, constructed in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The stairs is very steep, please watch out your steps.

17:00pm, you will have the opportunity to see sunset view on the Great Wall and the Great Wall with sparkle lights.

18:30pm, walk back to Wangjing Street and prepare to watch fabulous Fountain Musical Show at the foot of Great Wall.

19:30pm, free stroll around the whole town to watch fabulous night view of lakes, mountains, bridges, restaurants and shops. All kind of performance are also available on the sun & moon island Square.

You can walk back to hotel on your own as this town is totally safe.

Day 02:

After totally enjoyable night sleep, get up late and have a big breakfast in hotel restaurant. (of course, morning run is also great choice to refresh our body and breath.)

09:30am, check out of hotel and walk to enjoy spring Spa in quiet courtyard of the Duan`s. On the way to the Duan`s courtyard, you will walk along new route and come across lots of different architectures, and always prepare to catch the beautiful pictures.

10:30am, Spa time for 1-2 hours. There are three inside pools with three different temperature, which help you to accommodate the hot water, and after your whole body totally hot, you can go to enjoy outside Spa in this chilly cold winter.

Totally immersed into Spring water, you will feel easy from head to toe.

12:30pm, leave the Spa place and prepare to say goodbye with Gubei Water Town.

On the way back to the parking lot, you can choose to taste one or two local snacks like Qiaotou Cake, fried beancurd, or Gubei Roasted Pear.

13:30pm, Check out of Gubei Water Town and get on our car to leave water town.

13:45pm, Later you will enjoy home-made lunch in local family, actually this family is ever real villager of Gubei town. And here you can hear some story about the Great Wall and even the whole Town.

15:00pm, transfer back to the downtown Beijing.

17:00pm, finally reach your hotel in Beijing. Your Gubei water town tour ends.
