1. Pick you up from your downtown hotel at 08:30 and transfer you to Mutianyu Great Wall for excursion and appreciate the great man-made wonder in the world. This section of Great Wall has 22 watch towers distributed at close intervals along the wall. It is regarded as the most beautiful section, as always surrounded by dense woods, less tourists and more flat stairs here. So Mutianyu Great Wall is our highly recommendation section for foreign visitors. You can do the hiking on the Great Wall for about 2 hours. Cable car or toboggan is available but optional (RMB 80 for single way, RMB 100 for round trip).
2. After lunch, transfer you back to the heart of Beijing, stroll around the Tiananmen Square to have outside look at the Tiananmen Tower, the the Great Hall of the people and the Mao Zedong Mausoleum.
3. Then start the exploration to the Imperial Palaces Museum - Forbidden City for 2 hours. Forbidden City served as the home of 24 emperors and his family (14 in the Ming Dynasty and 10 in the Qing Dynasty). Visit the Forbidden City is to review the history of China's Feudal Society.
4. Around 16:30, transfer you back to your hotel.
