1. Pick up from your downtown hotel in Chengdu at 08:00 and tranfer to Duanjiangyan directly. Duanjiangyan is located about 60km west of Chengdu. Built about 2000 years ago, it is an ancient irrrigation project in China. Until now, it is still in use to irrigate over 5,300 square kilometers of land. In 2000, Dujiangyan Irrigation System was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
2. After lunch, move on to visit Mt. Qingcheng. Mt. Qingcheng is one of the most famous Taoist mountains in China, divided into the front mountain and the back mountain, two sections. Here is the great place where you can both enjoy peaceful mind and natural beauty.
3. Transfer you back to your hotel in Chengdu, tour end.

Dujiangyan Irrigation System
Dujiangyan irrigation infrastructure was built in 256 BC during the Warring States period of China by the State of Qin. It is located in the Min River in Chengdu. Until now, it is still in use to irrigate over 5,300 square kilometers of land in the region. In 2000, Dujiangyan became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Mount Qingcheng
Mount Qingcheng is a famous mountain where Taoism orginated in China. In 2000, it was enrolled into the UNESCO World Heritage List.In the famous film “Kung Fu Panda 2”, Mount Qingcheng was portrayed as the background of Kungfu Pandas. Here, you can easily find the connection between mountain, Kungfu and temples. Moreover, lots of waterfalls, green trees and ancient temples always provide great spots for landscape photography.
