Located 13 kilometers south of Luoyang city, Longmen Grottoes is one of the four famous Grottoes in China. With green mountains and clear water around, in November 2000, it was listed as the World Heritage Site. It is the symbol and the most famous attraction in Luoyang.

Longmen Grottoes were carved during the Northern Wei Dynasty around 493 AD.
