Located on the south end of Hong Kong Island, the Ocean Park is a major attraction in Hong Kong and gains the high fame of the best amusement park in Hong Kong. Opened 1977, covering an area of 170 acres, it is one of the largest ocean park in the world. The animal houses is smaller but amazing as well. Visitors could see the dolphin shows of Marine World, the bizarre creatures of Rain Forest and the barking sea lions of Polar Adventure. Rain Forest is a new themed area opened to the public in 2011. Here is a kingdom of nature and animals where visitors could get a close look at of some 70 species, more than 1000 animals including the largest toucan and the smallest monkey in the world.
