Longji Terrace or also called Dragon's Backbone Terraced Rice Fields is one of the beautiful and exotic nature scenery, the art of agriculture in China. Located not far from Guilin city, it has a long history from Yuan, Ming, Qing Dynasties and become an old heritage since 700 years ago. Longji Rice Terrace is grown on the hillside with various terrace height, between 300 meters and 1100 meters and slopes between 26 degrees and 35 degrees. It looks like a big chain which makes a unique shape from the foot to the top of the hill.
