Chongqing People's Assembly Hall has three characteristics:
First of all, it is China's ancient wooden buildings. Because of the limit of the length, thickness, flammability and perishable of the wood, the building can not be large. So how to make the building look grand and magnificent? With the help of high terrain, wide and firm base and the group of organic combination, it successfully reaches the goal.
Secondly, all the buildings in the hall are linked together to make a unified whole through the obvious and changeable combination, built in accordance with the axis. It is said that Chongqing People's Assembly Hall is the best example of this architecture style.
Finally, the ancient building needs to build in proportion. Graceful and soft curves, slightly upswept eaves, wide and heavy body and strong foundation make the whole building into a steady construction.

As the symbol of Chongqing, People's Assembly Hall will impress you a lot. It is the place really worth a visit during your visit to Chongqing city.
